• Let assume the total work to be making 20 documents, A can do 2 everyday and B 1 everyday, it is given, after A left B took another 2 days to complete the work.So, B alone made 2 documents at the end and A and B together made 18 documents. So, as both of them can make 2+1 =3 documents per hour, they would have taken 6 hours for 18 documents. So, total time = 6 +2 = 8 hours.
