- 7.5 km is the ans

- viru & dhoni will meet every 2.5 round 0f circle.
2.5 * .5= 1.25 km
means at every 1.25 km they will meet.
viru meets dhoni 6th times.
so viru will cover 1.25*6=7.5 km
and dhoni will cover .75*6=4.5 km - 11 years agoHelpfull: Yes(12) No(1)
- Ans will be 7.5 km.
Let the speed of viru and dhoni be 5x and 3x respectively.
( Since we know that if two or more person starts moving from same pt on the circumference of circle on the same path in the same direction around the circle they will first meet in the lcm of time the fastest runner takes in totally overlapping each other.)
so to find overlapping time we have to find relative speed of both person (as here only two persons are given)
so their relative speed is 2x.
let they will meet after t sec.
so, 2xt=0.5
t=0.25/x
hence viru will overlap dhoni at every 0.25/x unit time.
now distance traveled upto first meeting by viru= 5x*t =1.25 km .
hence viru will cover 1.25*6= 7.5 km when he will cross dhoni 6th time. - 9 years agoHelpfull: Yes(6) No(0)

- ans is A but
first meet = 330/2= 165s
second meet after completing one round bcoz clock waise movement and speed is difer. so after 1 round difference b/w them is 440-88. now cover this distance by a is in the tyme 352/2= 176. 44s taken by B to i round = 176+44=220.
total tym= 220+165= 375/60= 6:25s.
