- frst see u*p=p and D*P=P this gives the clu as 3*5=5(10) or 7*5=5(+30) or 9*5=5(+40)
so frst let us tak p=5 and u=5 and d=7 so so the secnd column p+p=o i.e. 5+5=0 thus if O=0(zero )then the multiple all is zero so this is not possible....|
now tak u=1 coz u*1=u and d*1=d and this also provd by that the second multipple i.e. HSP * U = HSP thus u is only 1,,,,,
now let us tak p=2 so s=8 o=4....
now again see D*P=P i.e. D*2=2 this goes only in two cases 2*1=2 and 2*6=2(+10),,,, so we go for 6 as 1 is already assignd......
now multiply d(6)*8=9(+1 carry from previous 12) thus we get a=9now add up we get a carry thus h=3,,,,, hnce solvd

There are nine politicians A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I who have to become member of one of the 3 commitees namely I, II, III. Each politician should become member of
atleast 1 commitee & only in 1 commitee. I has exactly 1 more than II, III may or may not contain any members
A, B, C can not become members of I
D, E, F can not become members of II
G, H, I can not become members of III
1. If II has exactly 3 members, then in how many ways different commitees can form.
