- Lets understand the given conditions in a better way.
Two of three given hard candies must be always in the box.So, at most one can be rejected.
Three of the soft candies from the given 5 must be always in the box.
From the other conditions of soft candies,
Only one of P andS and only one of Q and T can be selected. So, to make total of three soft candies, R should always be selected and the remaining two soft candies will be (one of P and S) and (one of Q and T)
Lets answer the questions,
(1) G is there, so T cannot be there, which implies Q must be there.
