here C.P = 6(1 toffee*1 rupee)and gain% is 20. So the formula for finding gain is:
gain% = (gain*100)/c.p
so, 20 = (G*100)/6
therefore gain = 1.20 rs.
now, in 1.20 rs toffees sold are 6
so in 1 rs toffees sold are = 6/1.20
=5
