a cow was standing on a bridge 5m away from middle of the bridge.a train was coming towards the bridge from the end nearest to the cow.seeing this the cow ran towards the train and managed to escape when the train was 2 m away from the bridge.if it had ran in the opposite direction it would have been hit by the train 2 m before the end of the bridge..what is the lenght of the bridge..

• here if we take the concept of relative speed
  then
  time of train=(x-2)/(y+z)...here x is length of bridge , y speed of train and z speed of cow
  
  time of cow=(((x/2)-2)+5)/y+z.
  as time will be equal then
  (x-2)/y+z=(((x/2)-2)+5)/y+z
  so x=10.
