- tOTAL AVERAGE IS 40.2. THE SUM OF TOTAL NUMBERS IS 40.2*10=402. GIVEN 1ST NO IS 18 GREATER , SO SUBTRACT IT 402-18=384.
SIMILARILY GIVEN THAT 13 INSTEAD OF 31, SO ADD (31-13=18). 384+18=402.
SO ANS IS 402/10=40.2 - 11 years agoHelpfull: Yes(3) No(0)
- 40.2 itself
Total of 10 numbers=10*40.2=402
If first correct no.is x then incorrect number=(x+18),actual difference=-18
The second correct no. 31,incorrect number=13, actual difference=31-13=+18
So correct average=402-18+18/10=40.2 - 11 years agoHelpfull: Yes(1) No(0)
