• there is a mistake in ques in previous data..... it should be 100mts not 100miles.
  solution:taking the above fact.....the given time of 1st:9.8 sec ....and 5th:10.4..
  as they are in A.P...... so the different timing will be...
  9.8,9.95,10.1,10.25,10.4,10.55,10.70 and 10.85....
  now in4*100 relay one team is(1,4,5,8) other is(2,3,6,7)...... so the difference in timing is (9.8+10.25+10.4+10.85)-(9.95+10.1+10.55+10.70)=0
