Q. AN NGO decide to distribute 45 boxes to four families A B C D. NGO decides to distribute in such a way when 2 is added to share of first, 2 is subtracted from share of second, 2 is multiplied to share of third and share of fourth is divided by 2, all result in the same number. Find out what is the share of B.

given
x+2=y-2=2z=w/2=k(let)
x=(k-2),y=(k+2),z=k/2,w=2k
x+y+z+w=45
or (k-2)+(k+2)+k/2+2k=45
or 9/2*k=45
or k=10
so B's share=y=(k+2)=(10+2)=12
