Q. You have 9 apples each of them are cut so well that after eating 3 of them and giving 4 pieces to your nephew you have distributed all the pieces to 10 boys equally then how many pieces an apple is of?

  nephew 4 so = 7 pieces
  if each boys had x pieces then the total no of pieces given to 10 boys = 10x
  total =10x+7 which should be divided by 9
  for x=2, total no of pieces 27 which is divided by 9
  27/9=3

  If we have cut an apple in 3 equal pieces. Then total no of pieces=9*3=27.
  Now 3 pieces eaten by you and 4 pieces given to ur nephew. then no of apple pieces remaining= 27-7=20.
