Q. What will be the next number
1/4, 1/4, 1/2, 3/2, 6,......?

• 1/4*1=1/4
  1/4*2=1/2
  1/2*3=3/2
  3/2*4=6
  6*5=30(ans)

• the puzzle says 1/4,1/4,1/2,3/2,6,___ now if we multiply the 1st no. by 1,we get 1/4.now we multiply the 2nd no. by 2,we get 1/2,now multiply 1/2 by 3,we get 3/2 and so on...
  1/4 * 1=1/4
  1/4 * 2=1/2
  1/2 *3=3/2
  3/2 *4=6
  6 * 5=30
  so the ans is 30.

  On dividing the next two terms (1/2)/(1/4) = 2
  Similarly,
  (3/2)/(1/2) = 3
  (6)/(3/2) = 4

• my ans is 30. every time the next term is mutiple of 1/4. 2nd term is 1*1/4,3rd term is 1/4*(1*2)=1/2,4th term is 1/4*(2*3)=3/2,5th term is 1/4*(6*4) So, the next term should be 1/4*(24*5)=30.
