What is the next number of the following sequence
0.5, 2, 3, 4.5, 6.75, ?

• 2+(2*0.5)=3
  3+(3*0.5)=4.5
  4.5+(4.5*0.5)=6.75
  6.75+(6.75*0.5)=10.125

  2nd num div by 3rd num so 2/3=0.666666
  3rd num div by 4th num so 3/4.5=0.666666
  4th num div by 5th num so 4.5/6.75=0.666666
  and hence 5th num div by 6th num so 6.75/x=0.666666
  put the value of x =10.125
  6.75/10.125=0.666666

  difference of 3 and 4.5 is 1.5(which is the multiplication of
  1st and 2nd difference i.e 1.5*1=1.5)
  difference of 4.5 and 6.75 is 2.25(which is the multiplication of
  1st and 3rd difference i.e 1.5*1.5=2.25)
