l=a+(n-1)*d

or 480=(n-1)*12
or 40=n-1

- 41 numbers, all the nos. divisible by 12(lcm of 4,6) will be divisible by 4&6,I no. greater than 100 divisible by 12 is 108, and last no. divisible by 12 will be 588, so an ap with common difference 12 will be formed whose first term is 108 and last term is 588, using formula for ap; i.e. general term a+(n-1)d, we get n=41
