Q. What is the next number of the following sequence
7,4,6,3,4.5,1.5,2.25,-0.75,.......?

  7,6,4.5,2.25,... & 4,3,1.5,-0.75,...
  in both series decrease of 1,1.5(1+ 1/2),2.25(1.75+ 1.75/2),3.375(2.25 +2.25/2)
  so next two no's are .25-3.375=-3.125 & -0.75-3.375=-4.125

  4.5-1.5=3,
  2.25-(-0.75)=3
  now 7-6=1
  6-4.5=1.5
  4.5-2.25=2.25
  so next should be -3.125,-0.125
