Q. 12 person can complete the work in 18 day. After working 6 days 4 more person added to complete the work. In how many days they will complete the work?

• 9 days
  12 men, 1 day work= 1/18, 1 man, 1 day work=1/(12*18)=1/216
  12 men, 6 days work= 6/18=1/3, Remaining work=2/3
  After 6 days,total men employed=12+4=16
  16 men,1 day work=16/216=2/27
  So days required for remaining work=(2/3)/(2/27)=9

  12men will work for 6 days
  so they will finish 12*6=72works
  remaining works are 216-72=144works
  to finish this 144 works 12+4=16 persons will be working
  so 16 members will finish the work in 144/16=9days
  so the total time taken to finish the work is 6+9=15days
