4 years ago Ram's age was twice Rahim's age. 4 years hence Ram's age will be 4/3 times Rahim's age. Find Ram's age in binary numbers.

  3x = 4y + 16 - 12

  2y=16
  y=8
  ---
  x=2(8)-4
  x=12

• let present age of ram is x and raheem is y.so 3 years ago there age was x-3 & y-3.now,
  x-3=2(y-3) ......given
  x+3=4/3(y+3) ......given for age 3 years later from present
  solve both eqn and we get x=12 &y=8
