from given data we can write 250+x/4 = x/3 - 100
by solving above eqtn we get x=4200
so ans is 4200

- check by options..just divide the no by 4 and 250 to it(said in the question) and the again divide the no by 3 and add 100 to it(said in the question).the result should differ by 100(said in the question.
4200/4=1050. then 1050+250=1300 and 4200/3=1400.
so clearly 1400-1300=100.
