Q. In a game of 80 points; A can give B 5 points and C 15 points. Then how many points B can give C in a game of 60 ?
Read Solution (Total 5)
-
- A:B=80:75
A:C=80:65
B/A*A/C= 75/65 => B/C WHEN B=75 , C= 65
NOW WHEN B=60 => C= 60*65/75 =52
THEREFORE 8 PTS - 10 years agoHelpfull: Yes(30) No(1)
- means B ve 80-5=75 points and C ve 80-15=65 points
therefore B:C =75:65
now in a game of 75, B gives C = 75-65=10 points
So, in a game of 60 B cn give C = 8 Ans - 10 years agoHelpfull: Yes(13) No(5)
- In 80 points game: A=80, A can give 5 points to B that means already B has 75 so B needs 5 points to win. Similar way C has 65 points.
There fore A:B:C:=80:75:65.
B:C=75:65
In 60 points game maximum points are 60 so make the B and C points to 60 for that B/c=75/65=15/13, now multiple this(15/13) ratio by 4 we will get A:B=60:52.
Therefore 60-52=8 points B can give C.
