- its quite easy
consider the alternate numbers i.e,odd places 1 2 8 8 4 4 ...
the other alternate numbers i., even places 2 4 1 0.5 1 4 ..
now by multiplying the first number of odd place with first number of even we get the next number of odd place
1*2=2
2*4=8
8*1=8
8*0.5=4
4*1=4
finally 4*4=16
