convert all to rupees 1rs 1/2rs, 1/4rs
given ratio=3:2:8
3X+2x1/2X+8x1/4X=300
=>X=50
no of 50paise coins = 2x50=100

Let the number of 100p, 50p and 25p coins be 3x, 2x, 8x respectively.

Then, sum of their values = Rs.(100*3x/100+ 50*2x/100+ 25*8x/100)
=(300x+100x+200x)/100
=600x/100
=6x.
then total is 300 6x=300 then x= 300/6 = 50
number of 50 paise = 2*50 = 100
