• let 8 consecutive odd numbers are x,(x+2),(x+4),...,(x+14)
  x+(x+2)+(x+4)+(x+6)+...+(x+14)= 656
  => 8x+2(1+2+...+7)=656
  => 8x+56=656
  => x=75
  smallest odd number = x = 75
  
  let four consecutive even no.s be y,(y+2),(y+4),(y+6)
  so, y+(y+2)+(y+4)+(y+6)= 4* 87
  => 4y+12= 4*87
  => y+3=87
  => y=84
  largest even number = (y+6)= 90

  =>x=73
  and (x+x+2+x+4+x+6)/4=87
  =>x=(348-12)/4=84
  so largest even number and smallest odd numbers are 90 and 73 respectively
