Time Distance and Speed
Two trains start from stations A and B and travels towards each other at speeds of 50km/hour and 60km/hour respectively.At time of their meeting the second train has traveled 120km more than the first.The distance between A and B is:
Read Solution (Total 2)

- Suppose after X hours they meet,
so in X hours, distances cover by two trains are 50x and 60x, respectively.
60x - 50x = 120kms => x = 12kms
So, disrance between A and B is, 60x + 50x = 110x = 110*12 = 1320kms - 13 years agoHelpfull: Yes(20) No(5)
- here time is same therefore
suppose first train covered X then second covers X+120
=> x/50=(x+120)/60 =>x=600 => 2x+120=1320
ans:1320 - 13 years agoHelpfull: Yes(9) No(1)
