Susan made a block with small cubes of 6 cubic cm volume to make a block 6 small cubes long: 8 small cubes wide and 10 small cubes deep. She realises that she has used more small cubes than she really needed. She realised that she could have glued a fewer number of cubes together to look like a block. with same dimensions: if it were made hollow. What is the minimum number of cubes that she needs to make the block?

- dimension of cube is 6x8x10. Number of cubes required for the length side=6x10x2=120. Number of cubes required for the width side =(8-2)x10x2=120. Number of cubes required for thetop and bottom surface= 6x4x2=48. so total number of cubes required = 120+120+48=288.
