In a rectangular cordinate system ,what is the area of a traingle whose vertices have cordinates(4,0) (6,3) & (6,-3)

• since,(4,0) is perpendicular bisector of line joining the points (6,-3)&(6,3)

• make diagram on cartesian system u will find height=2 unit and base=6 unit

• Sqrt of {(x2-x1)^2+(y2-y1)^2
  By substituting.coordinate values we get both the sides as root(13)
  Therefore it is a square.. Area is 13... Diogonally half the sqr is triangle ... N therefore we get 13/2 so finally ans is 6.5 ..

  By coordinate geometry, area of triangle is Ax(By-Cy)+Bx(Cy-Ay)+Cx(Ay-By)/2
  where Ax is x-coordinate of A and so on..
