Number Series
What is the next number of the following sequence
-3,6,1,-2,4,-1,21,2,-3,?
Read Solution (Total 6)
-
- Divide the series into 3 parts:
( -3, 6, 1 )
( -2, 4, -1)
( -1, 2, -3)
By observing above parts carefully: next part becomes:
( 0, 0, -5)

- Series is like- -3,6,1,-2,4,-1,-1,2,-3
(-3,6,1)
(-2,4,-1)
(-1,2,-3)
ie... -1,-2,-2 in each
so next term will be
(0,0,-5)

- -3+6+1=4
-1+21+2=22
therefore answer is 22 - 10 years agoHelpfull: Yes(2) No(7)
- Answer is 0
the series we can devide like -3,(6,1),-2,(4,-1),-1,(2,-3),0
here 6, 6-5=1
4, 4-5=-1
2,2-5=-3 so on.
So ANSwer is 0 - 10 years agoHelpfull: Yes(2) No(0)
- -3,6,1,-2,4,-1,2,-3,X
-3*-2=6
-2*-2=4
-1*-2=2
1-2=-1
-1-2=-3
-3-2=-5
so answer -5 - 10 years agoHelpfull: Yes(1) No(3)
- i think there is some mistake in the series.if you place -7 in place of -1 then answer will be 16.
6/-3 = -2,
-3+6+1 = 4
Similarly,
21/-7 = -3
-7+21+1 = 16 - 10 years agoHelpfull: Yes(0) No(3)
