- ans option (a)7371
The amount of work done by a man, woman and a child are in ratio 3:2:1.
So part of work done on a day by a man, woman and a child are 1/2,1/3 and 1/6 respectively......(i)
So on a day when 20 men, 30 women and 36 children work for a day amount of work done will be 1/2*20 + 1/3*30 + 1/6*36 = 26 units.
For this 26 units of work a total of 78 is given as wage so for one unit of work wage is 78/26 = 3.
Now when 15 men, 21 women and 30 children work for 18 weeks(18*7=126 days)
=>Amount of work done will be 15/2+21/3+30/6= 19.5 units/day
=>Total amount of work done by all(15 men, 21 women and 30 children) for 18 weeks(18*7=126 days)=19.5*126
=>So total wages @3 per unit work=19.5*126*3=7371 - 10 years agoHelpfull: Yes(3) No(0)
