  It can only graze in 1/4 th of circle of radius equal to lrngth of rope inside that square plot.

  Its radius is 7
  
  hence area of circle=pi*r*r
  
  Area covered by goat=(pi*r*r)/4
  So area=((22/7)*7*7)/4)=38.5 sq.m

• so basically we have to find the area of the circle whose diameter is the length of the rope = 7m
  Therefore radius = 7/2 = 3.5m
  therefore area of the circle = Pi * (radius)^2 = Pi * (radius) * (radius) = 3.14 * 3.5 *3.5 = 38.5 sq.m
