- 30 paise is tax at 6% on taxable purchases.
So, Cost price of taxable purchase is (30/6) * 100 i.e. 5 Rs.
So, Cost of taxable purchase is 5 Rs. and tax is 30 paise.
That means total taxable purchase including tax is Rs. 5.30
Rahul brought things for Rs. 25 out of which Rs. 5.30 is of taxable purchase
So, tax free purchase is of Rs. 19.70
Option C is correct. - 10 years agoHelpfull: Yes(38) No(6)
- assume that we bgt x rupees taxable things from market...
nw we can see that,,6% is the tax rate...so,
.30=x * 6/100...so x=5.. and including tax it wl be 5+.30=5.30
so other things wl be 25-5.30=19.70 - 10 years agoHelpfull: Yes(8) No(1)
