If 843xy is completely divisible by 80,then what is the value of x-y?

• for a number to be diviisble by 80, it shuldbe divisible by both 8 nd 10
  
  divisible by 10 means , it shuld end with 0
  
  so y=0
  
  nd divisible by 8 means, last 3 digits shuld be divisible by 8
  
  so x=2 implies last 3 digit of 320 which is absolutely divisible by 8
  
  x=2, y=0
  so x-y= 2-0= 2

  80*1=8o,
  80*2=160,
  80*3=240,
  80*4=320
  
  in question 843xy,already 3 is there so x=2,y=0;
  therefore 2-0=2;
