A)(x-4)=0
B)(x-3)(y-7)=0

i don't remember the options... options were like neither of the two,both statements and the other two i forgot...options were tricky one... if anyone remembers plz comment...

• The value of Y is very much satisfied by equation second. Recall quadratic equations roots....so value of Y doesn't depend upon value of X. so, answer is only statement 2.

  But if we combine then we get our actual answer y=7..

• If we take Y=9 and X=3 or Y=7 and X=any value then also statement B satisfy.There is no confirmation of X value. So, we have to consider both statements.

  if we 1st data we cn get the values of x=4
  then in option b if we put
  the value of x=4 ie (4-3)(y-7) then we can get y=7
