The total number of digits in all the page numbers of a book.I am reading now is 1689 . How many pages does my Book have ?

• 1*9=9digit
  10-99=2*90=180digit
  100-599=500*3=1500digit
  total digit=9+180+1500=1689
  no of pages=599

  so let total page be x
  9*1 + 90*2 + (x-99)*3 = 1689
  after solution x=599 ans

  pages 10-99: 90x2 = 180
  1689-189=1500
  no. of three digit numbers = 1500/3=500
  
  so, 500+99=599
