20 people going to one temple,they want rs 20.for men rs 3,women rs 2,children 50 paisa,how much money spent for men,women,children?

suppose no of men =x, women=y nad children=z
so x+y+z=20.......
and 3x+2y+.5z=20
or6x+4y+z=40......
now subtracting we get 5x+3y=20 or x=(20-3*y)/5 or x=4-3*y/5
so value of x is less than 4 now it is 1 then y=5 (to get y)
putting the values of x and y in first equation we get z as 14
so men got =1*3=3
women got =5*2=10
and children got =14*.5=7
