- 4000m for Rs 40000 so Rs 100 per meter
actual cost of 1.5 meter is Rs 150
selling cost of 1.5 meter is Rs 200
so 50/150 *100 = 33.33% Profit - 10 years agoHelpfull: Yes(20) No(0)
- 400 mtr -- 40000
1 1/2 mtr -- ?
3/(2*400) * 40000 = 150rs
So he has bought 1 1/2 metres at 150 rs nd going to sold at 200 rs
So Gain = 200 - 150 = 50
Gain % = 50 * 100 /150
=> 5000/150 = 33.33%
Ans : 33.33%

- 400 m cloth = 40,000
so 1 m cloth = 40,000/400 = 100
1 1/2 cloth = 100 + 50 = 150
the shopkeeper sells 1 1/2 m for 200rs, so the profit is = 200 - 150 = rs.50.
gain% = 50 * 100/150 ==> 33.33% - 9 years agoHelpfull: Yes(4) No(0)
- cp of 1 meter=40000/400
=rs 100/m
sp of 1 meter=200/1.5
gain%= sp-cp * 100/cp
=(200/1.5-100) *100/100
=500/15
=33.33%

- approximately 33% gain
3/2m=200
400m=x
x*3/2=200*400
x=53333
gain=s.p-c.p
gain=13333
gain%=(13333/40000)*100=33%

- 400m-->40000 which means 1m-->100 rs.
then he sells at 3/2 m-->200rs. which gives us , 3m for 400rs as S.P .
while c.p for 3m is 300(3*100). so , p=400-300.
p%=100/300*100=33.3% - 9 years agoHelpfull: Yes(0) No(0)
