• Library checkout is 5 week period and can be renewed 6 times. So he can keep for a maximum of 8 weeks.

  0-5 weeks (1st renew)
  5-10 weeks (2nd renew)
  10-15 weeks (3rd renew)
  15-20 weeks (4th renew)
  20-25 weeks (5th renew)
  25-30 weeks (6th renew)- maximum renew
  after that,

  So 35 weeks is maximum.

  i.e. 5+5 total 10 weeks
  now again he renews it i.e 2nd time
  so total 5+5+5=15 weeks
