If 9 is 6th term of an A.P. If sum of 2nd,3rd and 5th term is equal to its 4th term. Find 8th term of A.P.

2nd term = a+d
6th term = 9
So a+5d = 9 ---->(1)
Given
2nd + 3rd + 5th = 4th
a+d+a+2d+a+4d = a+3d
3a+7d = a+3d
2a + 4d = 0 ---->(2)
Solving (1) & (2), We get
a = -6
d = 3
Therefore 8th term is a+(8-1)d
-6+7*3 = -6+21 = 15

2nd + 3rd + 5th = 4th
=> a+d + a+2d + a+4d = a+3d
=> 2a + 4d = 0
=> a + 2d = 0 ---(2)
(1)-(2) => d = 3 , a= -6
8th term = a+7d = -6 + 7*3 = 15
