- 1 candle burn for 1 hour
Take both candles...
Light up both the ends of 1st candle... so it ll burn for 30 mins... [since lighting up in 1 end ll burn for 1 hr, lighting up in both ends ll burn for half an hr ie 30 mins]
Light up only one end of 2nd candle... After the 1st candle burns completely, (means 30 mins measured), light up the other end of 2nd candle ... since it is half burned, remaining half ll be burned in 15 mins bcozzz now we light up both the ends...

- light 1st candle from both the sides-(30 mins)
and at the same time (when we light up the 1st candle)burn 2nd candle from one side-(it will take 30 min to burn half of itself) and after that light it from second side also(which will take 15 mins)i.e, 30+15=45 mins - 10 years agoHelpfull: Yes(2) No(0)
- 1.First of all light one candle from both the sides and 2nd candle from one side.
2. Now,1st candle will finish in 30 min and 2nd candle would have been burnt half way.
3.Now start 2nd candle lighting from both the sides and it will finish in next 15 min.
So we have measured 45 minutes. - 10 years agoHelpfull: Yes(1) No(0)
