Given, (x+x+1)^2=49, x^2+x-12=0, (x-3)(x+4)=0, x=3, so x+1=4

If two numbers are x & y,
Given, y=11+x ---(i) &
x*y=-24 ---(ii)
Substituting value of x=y-11 from (i) into (ii)
(y-11)y=-24 or y^2-11y+24=0
