- ans: 60 diamonds
Let diamonds are x.
1.x/2+2=(x+4)/2,remaining=x-(x+4/2)=>( x-4)/2
2. remaining/2+2 i.e (x-4)/4+2=x+4/4, remaining=(x-4)/4-(x+4)/4=>x-12/4
3. (x-12)/8+2=(x+4)/8,remaining= (x-12)/4-(x+4)/8=>(x-28)/8
4.(x-28)/16+2=x+4/16, remaining= (x-28)/8-(x+4)/16=>(x-60)/16
5. (x-60)/16=0 so x=60 - 10 years agoHelpfull: Yes(31) No(2)
- 60 is answer
1 : 60-32=28
2 : 28-16=12

- ans: 76 diamonds
Let diamonds are x.
1.x/2+2=x+4/2,remaining=x-(x+4/2)=> x-4/2
2. remaining/2+2 i.e (x-4)/4+2=x+4/4, remaining=(x-4)/4-(x+4)/4=>x-12/4
3. (x-12)/8+2=x+4/8,remaining= (x-12)/4-(x+4)/8=>x-28/8
4.(x-28)/16+2=x+4/16, remaining= (x-28)/8-(x+4)/16=>x-60/16
5. (x-60)/16=0 so x=16+60=>76

- let total diamonds are x.
now total theft diamonds = initial diamonds
now X = (.5X+2)+(.25X+1+2)+(.125X+.5+1+2)+(.0625X+.25+.5+1+2)
X = 196 - 10 years agoHelpfull: Yes(0) No(7)
- by trial let 60 diamonds are there
1-60/2+2=32
remaining 60-32=28
2-28/2+2=16
remaining=28-16=12
3-12/2+2=8
remaining=12-8=4
4-4/2+2=4
5-remaining=4-4=0
