5 came nothing was left for that.how many diamonds was there???

  1.x/2+2=(x+4)/2,remaining=x-(x+4/2)=>( x-4)/2
  2. remaining/2+2 i.e (x-4)/4+2=x+4/4, remaining=(x-4)/4-(x+4)/4=>x-12/4
  3. (x-12)/8+2=(x+4)/8,remaining= (x-12)/4-(x+4)/8=>(x-28)/8
  4.(x-28)/16+2=x+4/16, remaining= (x-28)/8-(x+4)/16=>(x-60)/16
  5. (x-60)/16=0 so x=60
