A store sold 200 racquets. Some sold for $33 and some sold for $18. The total value of the racquets sold was $4,800. How many racquets sold for $33 and how many sold for $18.

'Y' be the total number of racquets that are sold for $18
Given Total number of racquets are 200
=>X+Y=200.........(1)
Total Value of racquets sold was $4800
=>33X+18Y=4800.......(2)
multiplying equation(1) with 18
=>18X+18Y=3600.......(3)
Subtracting equation (3) from equation (2)
=> 33X+18Y=4800
18X+18Y=3600
=>15X=1200
=>X=80
Substituting X=80 in equation (1)
=>80+Y=200
=>Y=120
So the Total number of Racquets sold for $33 is 80
and total number of Racquets sold for $18 is 120
