Numerical Ability
The No. of marbles in box A is two thirds of the No. of marbles in box B Half the marbles in box aA are transferred to box C already containing 5 marbles Now the No. of marbles in box B is twice that in box C. Now the contents of A and the contents of C are transferred to and empty box D. How many marbles would D contain ?
Read Solution (Total 1)
-
- 25 marbles.
suppose intially A has 2x marbles, B had 3x marbles, C had 5 marbles and D has none.
then 3x= 2*(5+x)
x=10 marbles.
so D has total of A and C i.e. 20+5=25 marbles now. - 10 years agoHelpfull: Yes(0) No(0)
