A farmer tells his friend that he bought som pigs and ducks from the market. But he did not tell the friend the number of each he bought instead he sold there are 60 eyes and 86 legs in all. Find the number of pigs and ducks the farmer has ?

If number of pigs=p & ducks=d, then
2p+2d=60 ---(i) &
4p+2d=86 ---(ii)
On solving (i) & (ii), p=13, d=17
