  24/(x-y)+36/(x+y)=6

  36/(x-y)+24/(x+y)=6.5
  solving we get 1/(x+y)=1/12
  and 1/(x-y)=1/8
  so x+y=12
  and x-y=8
  then x=10 and y=2
