Amitabh covered a distance of 96 km two hours faster than he had planned to.This he achieved by traveling 1 km more every hour than he intended to cover every 1 hour 15 minutes.What was the speed at which Amitabh traveled during the journey?

Let, Amitabh planned to travel 'd' km per 5/4 hour
Now, according to question: He covers 'd+1' km in just 1 hr

So, his planned speed(v) = d/(5/4) km/hr
Actual speed (v') = (d+1)/1 km/hr

So, 96/v - 96/v' = 2
Solving, d = 15
So, actual speed (v') = 15 + 1 = 16 km/h
