Two different school a and b have the same no of pupils.The ratio of the boys in school a and the boys in school b is 2:1 and the ratio of girls in school a and girls in school b is 4:5.find the ratio of the boys in school a to the girls in school a.

  boyes in b=1/3
  
  girls in a=4/9
  girls in b=5/9
  
  so,(2/3)/(4/9)=3/2=3:2

• let the boys are in school A and B suppose 2x and x...and the girls are in school a and b are 4y and 5y...as we know that the peopls are same ...so
  2x+4y=x+5y so,,we can see x:y=1:1 then the ratio will be 2*1:4*1=2:4=1:2

  coz b1=2/3 and remaining girls wud b g1=1/3 becomes total strenght of the school
