Ram is having 158 coins of one rupee. He puts it in different bags, so that he can hand over the cash of any denomination required between Rs. 1 to Rs. 158. What is the least no. of bags required ?

• i guess 33..becoz if v consider 1coin in 1 bag ,2 coins in another bag..n soon till 9 coins in 9th bag..now if v combine all these coins v get 45 coins...similarly if v try with other set of 9 bags v will get 90 coins with 18 bags..again more 9 bags for 45 coins..so total v got 27 bags with 135 coins..now we shall consider 2 bags with 4 coins each, 2 bags with 6 coins each,1 bag with 2 coins n 1 bag with 1 coin ...hence 33 bags for 158 coins..
