by joining the mid point of any qudrilateral we always get parallelogra.

area of parallelogram = areaof quadrilateral / 2

= 72/2
= 36 sq cm

if inner quadrilateral is rectangle or parall... outer quaddrilatral should we rectangle.

then = a*b= 72.
area of inner qudrilateral = a*b- 4*area of four tringle form when joining the mid point.
so, a*b- 4*1/2*a/2*b/2 = 72- 4*72/8 = 36.
