s.p. = (1.5)(.8)x = (1.2)x
profit=Rs.50
=> (1.2)x - (.8) x = 50
=> (.2)x=50
=> x= 250

So cost price = 80/100*X=0.8X
Selling Price = 0.8*(150/100)*X=1.2X
now according to the question
(1.2-0.8)X= 0.4X =rs 50
So X= 125
