- Let, x lits taken from first vessel
so from second vessel (35-x)
so, (8x/11 + 5(35-x)/6):(3x/11 + (35-x)/6)=4:1
=> x=11
Hence, 11 litres are taken from first vessel. - 10 years agoHelpfull: Yes(34) No(3)
- in 35 liter sprit=35*4/5 lit=28 lit.
water=35*1/5 lit=7 lit.
so we take 11 lit from first vessels..in 11 lit sprit=8 lit and water= 3 lit..(first vessels sprit:water=8:3)
and take 24 lit from second vessels...in 24 lit sperit=20 lit and water =4 lit..(second vessels sprit:water=5:1)
so ans is 11 lit... - 10 years agoHelpfull: Yes(5) No(2)
