obtain a new mixture in vessel C containing half
milk and half water?

  Milk in 1 litre mixture of C = 1/2 litre.

  milk be re.1 per litre.
  1 lit milk mixture of A=4/7 lit; milk in 1 lit mixture of b=2/5
  For c=1/2 lit.
  C.p of 1 liter in A= Rs.4/7
  C.p of 1 liter in B=Rs.2/5
  mean price=Rs.1/2,
  By the using alligation
