A tailor has a piece of cloth which is 135m long and 35m wide. He wants to divide the cloth into pieces of length 35m and breadth 1m. If he took 7sec for cutting a piece, what is the time taken (in sec) for cutting the whole cloth into required pieces?

first find the no. of small pieces that is 135*35/35*1 = 135
no. of times pieces will be cut= 135-1=134(last one should not be cut)
then 134*7= 938

time taken to cut 135 peices=135*7=945
but last peice woud be removed on cuttig the 134th peice so required time=945-7=938
